Excalibur Resources Appoints President and Chief Executive Officer; Arranges Private Placement
Dr. Kendall attended Queen's University where he completed a Masters of Mining Engineering that included studies in mineral exploration, mineral economics and geostatistics. Dr. Kendall also holds Masters and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Carleton University, as well as a Bachelors degree in Engineering Physics from McMaster University.
"Excalibur's board of directors is pleased to welcome Dr. Kendall as a senior officer of the Company", stated Tim Gallagher, chairman of the Company. "Dr. Kendall's education and experience will be useful in gaining the maximum advantage from modern geophysical exploration techniques for our existing Silver King and Sturgeon Lake properties, as well as the acquisition and exploration of future high potential properties."
The Company has arranged a private placement of 500,000 Units at $0.12 per Unit. Each unit consists of one common share and one share purchase warrant, exercisable at $0.16 per share for a two year period. Proceeds will be applied toward general working capital.
Excalibur Resources Ltd. is a junior exploration mining company focused on the discovery, development and mining of economically viable precious and base metal mineral resources near historic mining camps.

SHAREHOLDERS ELECT NEW DIRECTORS AND APPROVE SHARE CONSOLIDATION
- Andrew Thomson is an entrepreneur who has been active in mineral exploration since 1993.
Currently Mr. Thomson is the President of Soltoro Ltd., a TSXV-listed exploration mining company focused on discovering bulk tonnage copper, gold and silver deposits in Mexico, and a Director of Gossan Resources, a TSXV-listed company engaged in the exploration and development of a broadly diversified portfolio of properties in Manitoba;
- David J. Libby is a Mining Engineer and is currently a Senior Associate and Consultant with Behre Dolbear & Company Ltd., Toronto, Ontario. Mr. Libby served as Executive Vice-President, Mining and Vice-President Mining Operations-Chile with Aur Resources Inc. from 1994 until retirement in 2007.
Mr Libby is a graduate of the Camborne School of Mines and a registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario; and,
- Andrew Robertson currently serves as a Vice President at Inflection Capital Inc. Prior to this position his career spanned 25 years in the debt financial markets with roles that included Senior Vice-President at GE Capital Solutions, Director, Private Debt Investments at Canada Life Assurance Company and Director, Loan Syndications at RBC Capital Markets. Mr. Robertson received a
B.Comm(Hon) degree from Carleton University and an MBA from the University of Toronto.
Tim Gallagher and Dianne Szigety were re-appointed as directors at the meeting and continue to serve as Chairman/CFO and President respectively.
The Company received shareholder approval to consolidate all the issued and outstanding share capital on the basis of one new share in exchange for up to 8 existing shares.
The Company recently changed its corporate head office from Vancouver to Toronto and is now located at 20 Adelaide Street East, Suite 400 Toronto, ON M5C 2T6.
